Mariam D. Frye-Summerville, 69 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on December 2, 2022.
Mariam was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Lem Frye, Jr. and Celia M. Frye on January 2, 1953. She attended Ypsilanti Public Schools.
Mariam enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with her family and taking trips. She loved being near the water, whether it was a lake or the ocean, that was her peaceful, happy place, but most importantly, she loved the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted sons, Darrell (Donna) Summerville, Pastor Darrian (Greta) Summerville, and Marlon Summerville; two daughters, her best friends who were her lovingly dedicated personal caregivers, Dana Summerville and Denitra Summerville; the very apples of her eyes, her eight grandchildren, Michala, Darrian Jr., Phillip, Xavier, Cyrus, Damaris, Christian, and Azaria; and her life-long friends, her siblings, Arlene Teresa McGregor, Gwendolyn (Greg) Jennings, Celia Mae Gold, Norman Lyndell Frye, Julia Deneen Weatherspoon, and Regina Evette DeSaussure, one sister-in-law Rosemary Frye, one special brother, Pastor Ronald “Chucky” Alexander; and an extended family of sister and brother cousins; you know who you are! Four aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will also greatly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving parents, Elder Lem Frye Jr., and Celia Mae Frye; three sisters, Marsha Jean Frye, Mary Louise Scott, Rachel Lea Frye; two brothers, Lem Frye, III, and Larry Ellery Frye, Sr.
