In the embrace of family, William found joy and meaning. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Maria Alma Regis Fielder, and his cherished sisters: Rebecca Ellis and Jessie Bryant. He was also blessed with a host of nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him.
William's legacy will be carried forward by those who were fortunate enough to know him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Leila Word; step-father, Andrew Word; father, William Fielder, Sr.; grandfather, John Fielder; grandmother, Mary Fielder; and sisters, Georgia Richardson, Shirley Murray, and Clara Bullock. Each of these individuals played a significant role in shaping the person William became.
With a passion for movies and news, William enjoyed spending his free time immersed in stories that shaped our world, reflecting his deep curiosity and engagement with life. His presence was a gift to all who encountered him, and he will be deeply missed by friends and family alike.
