Tommy Bruce Allen, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, departed this earth on December 19, 2024, in Detroit, MI. Born on August 3, 1971, Tommy was a man whose joy radiated through the simplest pleasures of life. He embraced every moment with a warm smile and an open heart, finding happiness in the company of those he cherished.

His family was the cornerstone of his life. Tommy's love for his wife, Melissa Allen, shone brightly through the years they spent together, creating a bond that transcended the everyday. With his children - Breianne, Xxavier, Emilee, Charlee, and Jameson - he shared countless adventures, whether it was creating laughter during movie nights or cherishing quiet moments filled with music. Tommy loved nothing more than singing to his family, his voice a soothing balm that enveloped them in love and warmth.

Trudie Allen, his loving mother, nurtured his kind spirit, instilling in him the values of love and family. As one of four siblings, Tommy shared a special connection with his brother Arthur (Marlo) and sisters Becky, Michelle (Craig) Phillips and his uncle Mike (Kristen) Taylor, who was more like a brother to him, each of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and camaraderie.

While Tommy's life was touched by the profound loss of his daughter, Leeah Allen, and the guiding light of his grandma, Rebecca Taylor (affectionately known as Nanny), along with cherished relatives including uncle Dennis and aunt Dee Dee / Deb. It is through their memories and love that he will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Tommy found joy in the world of movies and music, often using them as a backdrop for family gatherings where laughter and love flourished. His incredible ability to create a sense of belonging and warmth will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we remember Tommy Bruce Allen, let us celebrate the beautiful moments he gifted us and the love he instilled in our lives. He leaves behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of his family and friends, reminding us to cherish every moment, sing often, and love fiercely.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the WMUZ Radio Church family for their support and prayer in their time of need.
