Owen Hoyt Ferrall passed away on December 15th 2020 at the age of 82. He was born April 30th 1938 in Hillsdale, Michigan, to Nathan Brazillia Ferrall and Mable Jennielynn Chamberlain. Owen was the youngest of 8 children, one of which a boy, Lee who died in infancy, 6 sisters as follows, Doris, Frances, Gwendola, Joyce, Beatrice, Lois. He also had 2 half siblings from his mother, Gerald and Marion Flowers. He grew up on his parents farm in Hillsdale and went to school in a one room school house. He had many fond memories of working on the farm and loved to go hunting and fishing. He met his wife Sandra Rebecca Wolfe at the Wayne county fair in 1958 through his nephew Donny, and they eventually got married on May 16th 1959 and celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year. They moved to Wayne, Michigan and bought their first house together on Hubbard st. He worked at Ford Motor Co.
as a parts inspector for 39 years until he retired in 1995. He enlisted in the United states Army in 1961 training in Germany as a driver of a M60 medium armored Tank. He served for 2 years and was ranked private 1st class when he was honorably discharged. Sandra and Owen had 3 children together as followed Sharon Ferrall, Robert (wife Pamela) Ferrall and Jason (wife Angela) Ferrall. He has 6 Grandchildren, Tiffany Wiles who preceded him in death as a infant, Justin (wife Christina) Wiles, Devon Ferrall, Joshua Wiles, Audrey and Greyson Ferrall. 2 Great grandchildren Tiffany, and Lillian Wiles. He is dearly loved and missed by all who knew him and lived a very happy and fulfilled life. Memory of him will live on forever in our hearts.
