Mary L. Johnson

Mary L. Johnson was born on August 17, 1950, in Alpena, Michigan. She passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, in Livonia, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Mary was a devoted mother to her surviving daughter, Renee Nutt, and a loving mother-in-law to Keith Nutt. Her family continued to grow through her grandsons, Austin Murray, Keith Nutt, Shane Nutt, James Nutt, and granddaughter, Breann Koc. The joy of her life was amplified by her great-grandchildren, Aubriee, Kaiden, Dylan, James, Liam, Lucas, Lainey, Bella, and Zoey.

Mary shared a deep bond with her brothers, Gary Kaminski and Harry Sobolewski, as well as with her sisters, Laurie Price and Barb McDaniels. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Johnson, along with her son Douglas Murray, and another son, Donald Murray. Also cherishing their memories of her are her late siblings, sister Linda Griffith and brother Larry Kaminski, alongside her late parents, Donald Kaminski and Rita Sobolewski.

Mary had a spirited passion for life that was evident in her hobbies, which included playing bingo and browsing estate sales with her husband, Ronald. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her, creating lasting bonds that will continue to resonate within her family.

She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched with her undeniable spirit and loving heart. May she rest in peace.
