Lester G. Shreve

Lester G. Shreve, Age 70, of Belleville, MI passed away April 25, 2019.

Lester Gordon Sheree was born February 8, 1949 in Romulus Michigan to Percy LeVant and Irene Shreve. Lester accepted Christ at an early age. Lester attended the Romulus Public School District. Shortly after, he was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Angela!

In 1974, Lester met the love of his life. On May 7, 1977 Lester was joined in holy matrimony with Marsha Lucille Glenn. They formed an inseparable bond that lasted 42 years! Lester was employed and retired from Kelsey Hayes after 30 years of hard work. He met many wonderful people that became life-long friends.

In 1989, Lester re-dedicated his life to the Lord. He joined Word of Faith International Christian Center where he enjoyed fellowship and serving on the usher board. Lester loved watching sports and talking on the phone with family and friends. He looked forward to his breakfast and lunch dates with his buddies. Most of all he loved a quiet evening with Marsha, sitting in their special comfy chairs, watching their favorite TV shows and video chatting with his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lester Gordon Shreve peacefully departed his earthly life on April 25, 2019, joining his parents, brothers Charles and Donald and sister-in-law Frankie, whom are preceded him in heaven. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his loving wife Marsha; his beautiful daughter Angela; four grandchildren, Jessica, Donta, Nikita and Julian; two great- grandchildren Aniyah and Jaron; three siblings, Waynard, Kenneth and Sharon (Isaac); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
