Laurie Elizabeth Stoddard, 62, of Wayne, MI passed away August 17, 2023.
Laurie Elizabeth Stoddard was born in Detroit, Michigan to Violet Dodge & Burns Peters on March 18, 1961.
Laurie attended Romulus High School in Romulus, Michigan. She went on to earn a certificate in Clerical Typing from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She enjoyed Native Arts & Crafts, church functions, her grandchildren and family.
Laurie is survived by her husband Clifford Stoddard; son Christopher Stoddard, Sr.; daughter -in-law Latashia Stoddard; (5) grandsons, Christopher Stoddard Jr., Michael Stoddard, Anthony Stoddard, James Stoddard, William Stoddard; (2) granddaughters, Faith Stoddard, Charity Stoddard; (2) sisters, Theresa Lewis, Jennifer Elmstrom; (4) brothers, Wayne Smith, Bill Dunn, Edward Snellgrove, John Snellgrove; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her adopted Father Paul Pratt, adopted mother Laura Pratt, brother James Peters, sister Patricia Szewko, brother John Graham, biological father Burns Telford Peters and biological mother Violet Dodge.
