Kendra (LaClear) Brown, 36, of Westland, MI passed away April 11, 2023.
Kendra was born on May 10, 1986 to Sherri LaClear & David Hughey. She attended high school at Garden City High School and graduated in 2004. She enjoyed figure skating, basketball and dancing. She received awards in competitive figure skating and National Honors Society and was also involved in Bottles Babies Rescue.
Kendra is survived by her son Jayden Gallion; stepdaughter Gracie Brown; mother Sherri Coffey; father David Hughey; step-father Dan Coffey; grandmother Rose Marie Coffey; 3 sisters, Kaira LaClear, Holly Calderwood, Lisa Stonebraker; 1 brother Brandon Coffey; 5 nieces, Makhia Coffey, Amaya Ciupka, Ashtyn Stonebraker, Brantleigh Varney, Olivia Coffey; 3 nephews, Malachi Ciupka, Zephyn Stonebraker, Brandon Coffey; cousin Noah LaClear; and 3 best friends, Kelli Tallis, David Wade, Krista Nealy. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Peggy Willis, grandfather Richard Rodrigues and papi Jeff Sanders.
