Karen Sue White

d. March 20, 2023

On March 20, 2023, God sent His angels to escort Karen Sue White into His heavenly arms.

Karen was born on October 5, 1956 in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late: Arnold and Josephine White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Michael Wong, Rodney (Phyllis) Salyers, Bridgett (Richard) Bunting, and Judith Hatcher; three brothers-in-laws and one sister-in-law. Karen is survived by five siblings: Brenda (Michael) Castle, Joseph (Jennifer) Rieg, James(Carol) White, William White, and Elizabeth (Dennis) Guyot. She is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, 41 great-nieces and nephews, and 25 great-great nieces and nephews.

Karen loved to laugh. She loved children, loved to color, draw and write letters and orange pop. She always enjoyed being pampered with hairdos, makeup, jewelry, and getting her nails polished. Christmas, Easter, and her birthday were three of her favorites’ days of the year because they meant presents and new baby dolls; which was one thing that was always by her side. A funny side of Karen was that she loved men. When a man entered the room; that’s when she would really light up. She would flirt by winking and fluttering her eyelashes.

She loved to be in the mix of everything and being around any group of people. She would shake her head in agreement during the conversation.

Karen’s life was not an easy one and in death it seemed unfair that, that was a struggle too. Our prayers as a family today is that Karen is walking on streets of gold with her Savior, whole and happy without any disabilities.
