Mae was a beloved figure to many, embodying kindness and warmth in all her interactions. Known as "Mom of many," she was cherished for her heart of gold and her unwavering love for her family and friends.

Mae was a remarkable cook, often serving meals that not only nourished the body but also brought everyone together around the table. Her passion for life was evident in her many hobbies, which included crocheting, playing darts, and enjoying time at the casinos. Mae also took delight in thrifting and was a loyal fan of the Red Wings and Colts, often sharing her enthusiasm for sports with those around her.

Her legacy is carried on by her loving family, which includes her daughters Juanita (Bob) Allen, Sheryl LaPointe-Gagnon, Betty (Jim) McQueen, Martha (David) O'Dell, Doris (Terry) Curtis, Mary (Terri) Stringer, and sons Tony Curtis and Charles (Kelly) Curtis. Mae's family tree extends further with 42 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will remember her fondly and hold her close in their hearts.

Mae joins her late family members, including her father, Carl Coryell; her mother, Lena Coryell; her son, Paul Curtis; her daughter, Opal Marcoux; and 4 grandchildren, in eternal rest.

A memorial gathering will be held on February 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 6:00 PM, at The Husband Family Funeral Home in Westland, Michigan.
