Franklin D. Davis, Age 70, of Inkster, MI passed away September 25, 2019.
Franklin D. Rosevelt Davis was born on August 31, 1949 in Blytheville, Arkansas to J.D. & Mary Ida Middlebrooks-Davis (both whom preceded him in death).
Franklin graduated from Harrison High School in 1968. In 1969 he entered into the United States Army, served one year in Vietnam and one year in the states. He held numerous jobs after a honorable discharge from the service.
Franklin met and married Elizabeth Jackson and to this union five children were born. He was very generous to his family and loved ones…all his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Franklin leaves to cherish his memory, 4 daughters, Angela (Bradley) Williams, Shaniquita Davis, both of Tampa, FL, Marion Davis of Indianapolis, IN, Dara Davis of Chicago, Il; 1 son Franklin D. Rosevelt Davis Jr. of Tampa, FL; 3 brothers, Sandy (Rochelle) Davis of Westland, MI, Robert Davis of Memphis, TN, Williams Davis of Inkster, MI; 2 sisters, Alice Rodgers & Barbara Davis of Jonesboro, AR; 20 grandchildren; one sister-in-law Bertha Davis of Rochester, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
