Emily Suzanne Thayer, 55, of Wayne, Michigan passed away on July 30, 2020.
Emily was born on November 23, 1964 in Wayne, MI to Larner Peak and Joan DeWaele. She completed her education at Wayne Memorial High School in 1982. She worked as a Bus Driver for 20 years the Wayne/Westland school district. She also worked as a DJ for the entertainer Gold Jones. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and perusing her local garage and estate sales where she would look for jeweled treasures.
Emily was preceded in death by her father Larner C. Peak; mother Joan DeWaele and stepfather Larry DeWaele.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her loving husband Perry Thayer; children Josh and Jane Thayer; and siblings Christine Peak, Theresa Southard, Matt (Judy) Peak, Joseph Peak, Lizabeth Peak and Beatrice (Laurence) Long.
