Cynthia Marie Parker, 62, of Hillside, IL passed away October 15, 2021.

Cynthia Marie Parker, affectionately known as Cymp was born October 1, 1959, in Inkster Michigan.  She was the fifth child of Alma and Ira Parker who preceded her in death. Cynthia started school in Inkster public district and graduated from Inkster High in 1977.  Cynthia accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at the age 12 years old.

Later in life she met Tony and LaTisha father and later married Harold Jerome Wade and to their union Bianca Wade was born.

She worked at a nursing home, Kmart and later settled at Kroger where she worked for 24 years before she retired in October 2019.  After retiring she moved to Chicago Illinois to be closer to her granddaughter Lily.  In October 2020, she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and departed from us peacefully on October 15th, 2021. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends Elmina Howell, Teresa Jackson and Nerina Baustia. Through the years she enjoyed movies, books, BBQ grilling, decorating she had a love for animal prints, as well as her dogs: Rusty, Chico, Smokey, Buddy, Missy and Coco.  She loved people of all races and nationalities and had a strong belief in God Almighty.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her children Tony Parker, LaTisha Ballard, Bianca Wade, Harold Tate (Bam), Courtenay Ballard (son-in-law); grandchild Lily Ballard; her brothers Edward Parker, Randy Parker and sister Judy Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that she loved dearly.
