Brigette Noelle Thomas, Age 28, of Inkster, MI passed away November 18, 2019.

Brigette was born December 6, 1990 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She was welcomed by her parents, Andre Thomas and Darlene Heard-Thomas. Brigette simultaneously attended Cooke School and Inkster High School. Brigette pioneered inclusion for special needs students within the Inkster district, winning the hearts of her peers and being crowned Homecoming Queen in 2010. She was a favorite amongst staff and made many friends. she received a Certificate of Completion from both schools.
Brigette is survived by both parents, Andre Thomas and Darlene Heard-Thomas; grandfather William; grandmothers, Elizabeth Vinson and Dorothy Heard; aunts Jacqueline, Carleen, Temika, Temeria, Lisa and Andrea Tina; and sister-in-love Starr. She was preceded in death by grandfathers Lawrence Thomas and David Heard and aunt Brenda.
Brigette brought joy and light to those in her life. She was smart, funny, full of life and loved dancing. If you had a great personality, Brigette loved being around you: she loved lively people. Her disability did not hold her back.
