Beverly Ann Porter, 86, of Wayne, MI, passed away on February 7, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Detroit, to Harry and Vera Lo.Vene, on November 12, 1936. Beverly worked as a homemaker and sold Avon. She loved traveling, antique shopping, camping, animals and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beverly also enjoyed planting flowers in her yard, county fairs, the music of Daniel O'Donnell and spending days at Greenfield Village.
Beverly was a longtime member of the Community Free Will Baptist Church of Westland. She absorbed every bit of sunshine, life, laughter and the presence of her family and friends that GOD blessed her with.
Beverly is survived by her Husband, James Porter; Sister, Bonnie (Bobby) Jewell; Children, Bonnie (Ron) Korte, James Porter Jr, Kelly Porter, Kristin (Matt) Sutton; Grandchildren, Ronnie (Samantha) Korte, Jessica Korte, Scott Porter, Audrey Sutton, Charlie Porter, Darren Sutton, Arissa Sutton; Great-Grandchildren, Alexis Lee, Mila Korte, Markus Korte, Kinsley Porter, Logan Leitch; also many nieces and nephews.
