Antonio Barry Filhiol, 63, of Norfolk, VA passed away on December 7, 2022 in Van Buren Township, MI.
Antonio “Tony” B. Filhiol was born September 4, 1959 and raised in Norfolk, VA to Raleigh and Linda Holloman. He went to high school at Booker T. Washington High School and graduated in 1977. He went on to join the Marine Corps Reserve and briefly attended Delaware State University. Tony worked for BASF Corporation for 23 years. He enjoyed cheering for the Detroit Lions (win or lose), grilling, golfing, spending time with his grandsons or hanging with his family and friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his infant grandson Kaleb Buckner, his father Raleigh “Mickey” Holloman Jr., his sister Charlene Matthews, and his grandparents Junis and Eunice Outlaw, and Raleigh and Ellen Holloman.
He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, Yvette Filhiol; mother, Evangelist Linda Holloman; brother Barnell Filhiol (Esther); sister Donna Faye Filhiol Warren; his children Tierra Filhiol and Alisha Filhiol; grandsons Amari Perez, Aceon Lewis and Jalon Lewis; and a host of god-children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
