Andrea Lynn Blalock, 36, of Westland, MI passed away on February 4, 2023.
Andrea was born on May 31, 1986 to Janet Perry and Kerry McParland. She attended Wayne Memorial High School. She went on to earn a medical certificate from Schoolcraft college where she earned a spot on the dean’s list and worked as a nurse’s aide in the Taylor public schools. She was involved in her church and enjoyed doing things with her children.
She is survived by her children, Kamau Bentley Jr., Erica Taylor and Serenity Blalock; mother, Janet Perry; sister, Amber McParland; half-brother, Frederick Perry Jr.; step-siblings, Michael Perry, Amanda Perry and Lacey Perry as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Kerry McParland; stepfather, Frederick Perry; Grandma and Grandpa McParland, Grandma and Grandpa Blalock and Grandma and Grandpa Perry.
Andrea was a beautiful soul. She cared and loved her children with a passion. She was always busy with them in all things that she did. She was a beautiful, quiet, loving daughter and always had her head on straight when it came to her family. Rest In Peace my beautiful Angel.
