Adam White, Jr., 79, of Canton, MI passed away February 20, 2021.

Adam Henry White, Jr. was born on July 11, 1941 to the late Adam Henry, Sr. and Maybelle White in River Rouge, Michigan. The eldest of four children, Adam was preceded in death by his brother, Barthell, and leaves to mourn his passing, two sisters, Delphine Reed and Eve Clark.

He was a graduate of River Rouge High School and went on to study art at many fine institutions, becoming an accomplished and well-renowned artist. Adam retired from Great Lakes Steel where he broke many steel rolling records and was honored for his artistic contributions to workplace safety signage.

Adam married Beverly Jean Johnson (White) and they became the proud parents of three children: Darlene, Laura, and Adam III (Chip).  They joined the International Gospel Center in Ecorse, Michigan, where Adam remained a dedicated member, Sunday School teacher, church artist and photographer. He created many banners, convention brochures and captured beautiful photographic memories that remain in place to this day. Adam was a Bible scholar and often shared his wisdom on the Word of God, inspiring and uplifting those he came in contact with, even during his hospital stays.

Adam leaves a great legacy of faith and trust for his loving wife, children, a devoted daughter-in-law, Katheryn White, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
